One of India’s biggest public sector general insurer, New India Assurance (NIA) led consortium of public sector insurance companies has been awarded the contract to insure Air India’s huge fleet of 126 aircrafts worth 9.5 billion dollars. The consortium outbid the tender submitted by private general insurance companies, for this contract floated by Air India. NIA will insure Air India for 9.5 billion insurance cover for a premium of $22.5 million, which would be a one of the biggest aircraft insurance deals in the whole of Southeast Asia. At Mumbai we met Chairman GIPSA who informed that ministry is insisting on wage settlement on bank line only. NFGIE LEADERS - CHECK OFF TOUR TO MADHAYA PRADESH & CHATTISGARH

DEAR FRIENDS,
 The following news received from the desk of NFGIE, Organising Secretary, Mr.Tarun Kanti Sen Gupta from Eastern Zone,KOLKATTA.

You are aware our General Secretary, Mr Sujit Bagchi  rushed to Bhopal on 25th November,2012 along with a team  of NFGIE executives to set right  the problems at Bhopal created by Mr Mukesh Dube with regard to union affairs.
We are glad to inform that  Sri Bagchi  and  his team comprising, M/S Gyan Prakash Mishra, Organizing Secretary, Vasant Khade, Vice President, Santosh Kr Singh, Organising Secretary, Narayan Panigrahi, Secretary Class III & IV and  Sushil Srivastav, Joint Secretary have been   received by  Mr G.C.S Bajaj (Manager, Bhopal R.O), Convenor of Our MP & Chattisgarh Unit along with  a large number of members  with  great  jubilation . Today (26.11.2012) they have  completed   meeting at every Divisional Offices  at Bhopal  and  support  received from the members  are worth praising. They  also  conducted  a successful meeting  at Bhopal R.O  which was  organized  centrally. 

We must inform  they have received  overwhelming support  from all the places wherever they met the members and   the  way the above  affairs were organized by  Mr Bajaj and his team and seeing the jubilation amongst the members we are confident  that we shall regain  our position as before .
From tomorrow they will visit other centers like Indore, Raipur, Satna, Bilaspur,Gwalior,Bhilai and Durg etc. If required a second team may also visit and continue operation.
