Friends you may be aware that I had filed a case against the company in 2011 for written test regarding wrong questions and i had won the case.  The management had brought stay order against the judgement in divisional bench.  I had challenged the same.  Yesterday (i.e. on 24.6.2013) it came up for listing and case hearing has been posted to 8th July,2013.   

At present my mobile will not be available as I am out of India.please inform to all .

You are aware that we objected to some clauses of the Group Mediclaim Policy and we are in movement in a Joint Platform to stall the same till we come to consensus.This is to inform you that just now Mr. M. Parshad, CEO, GIPSA  has informed us that the GIPSA has taken a decision to defer the implementation of the Group Mediclaim Policy for 3 (three) months. Therefore,submission of Enrolment  Form is not required at present.

Dear Friends,

As you are all aware that , I had been advised rest and medicines for my heart ailments which was recently diagnosed and subsequent to the above I had requested Management to give a transfer at Ernakulam Regional Office for better conveyance and medical attention.
Unfortunately management took the request in other sense and thought that my presence will be again a threat for them and my colleagues were not able to convince them properly. Finally my request for this Office- adjacent to Regional Office ( in city)were made effective and reported here in this Office today.

The following is the text of the letter received from Mr. Sujit Bagchi, General Secretary, NFGIE on Floater Mediclaim policy for Employees.

RE: STAFF GROUP MEDICLAIM POLICY (FLOATER)
We are in constant touch with GIPSA authority about improvement of the above policy mainly for the following :

A. NO TPA ----- In house claim settlement as per existing system.
B.  Enhancement of Eligibility limit to reduce individual premium burden.
C. One time Option be relaxed and be given in every renewal.
D. Interim Sum Insured for option be given i.e., 5 Lac, 6 Lac, 7 Lac etc

Eight Checked Off Unions along with 2 Pensioners’ Association are jointly engaged in convincing the GIPSA Authority about the pros and cons of the new GMC Policy and awaiting favourable decision from the GIPSA. In the meanwhile it has been decided that all members are to obtain the enrolment form from the department concern and wait for our final instruction for depositing the same till 14th June,2013 since we are expecting some outcome by the time. For information please note that last date for submission of the Form for existing employees and retired employees are 18th June and 28 June, 2013, respectively as per H.O. guideline.

Sub: Revised terms of Group Mediclaim Policy (floater) covering employees/retired employees.

It has come to our knowledge that National Insurance Co. Ltd. and Oriental Insurance Co. Ltd. have started distributing enrollment forms for new Group Mediclaim Policy to the employees and retired employees ignoring the opposition of National Federation and other checked-off unions. You must be aware that we have formed a Joint Platform of checked-off unions for this issue and we have sought for your appointment in the next week for the purpose of submitting our Memorandum on this issue.

We demand postponement of launching of New Group Mediclaim Policy for employees and retired employees subject to our discussion with all the Checked-off unions with you and request you to instruct the companies not to issue such Enrolment Forms.
