Dear Sir,

Re:   New Pension Scheme to Newly Upgraded  PTS to FTS

We are thankful to you that for your initiative the  long pending issue of upgradation  of PTS to FTS in New India have been resolved .  Since  these PTS  were under the  Old Pension Scheme -1995 and  used to contribute  PF as per old scheme  it is  their  legitimate right  to continue with the same scheme  as there service  is upgraded and continued without break .  We have been  continuously  pursuing the above  demand of these upgraded PTS to FTS .  You may recall,  we had  discussion  with you  on the issue on various  occasion  and  you were also  hopeful  that  they  will come under old Pension Scheme-1995 as expressed by you.  Now  we are  surprised to  note the contents of  E mail sent by EWS Deptt dt.2-08-2013  that  in respect of PTS converted to FTS after 01 Apr 2010 are also covered under NPS and  their salary generation will be stopped   for non- submission of  enrolment forms for NPS.  Hence  your urgent intervention  into  matter is required .
