One of India’s biggest public sector general insurer, New India Assurance (NIA) led consortium of public sector insurance companies has been awarded the contract to insure Air India’s huge fleet of 126 aircrafts worth 9.5 billion dollars. The consortium outbid the tender submitted by private general insurance companies, for this contract floated by Air India. NIA will insure Air India for 9.5 billion insurance cover for a premium of $22.5 million, which would be a one of the biggest aircraft insurance deals in the whole of Southeast Asia. At Mumbai we met Chairman GIPSA who informed that ministry is insisting on wage settlement on bank line only. COMPETETIVE EXAM FROM CLASS-3 TO CLASS-1 - UNDER PARA 13.2 - REVISED PATTERN

DEAR FRIENDS,
The Competetive examination pattern has been changed from the year 2011 onwards. The following are changes, the papers will be :
1) PAPER -1 : Department  Subjects - Objective Type - 1 Mark each  - Total : 100 marks.
2) Paper-2 : English & General Knowledge - 25 Marks for Subjective Type and 75 Marks for Objective Type questions respectively.
3) No Negetive Marks.
4) Pass Marks for General Category : 50 in any one paper & Aggregate : 120.
5) For SC/ST  Pass Mark: 40 in any one paper & Aggregate: 100 Marks.
