Due to increse in AICPI, Public Sector  General Insurance Staff will get 36 Slabs DA from Nov'10 () The total slabs for DA calculation purpose from November  is 281 on Revised basic salary (@0.15%  on basic to arrive per slab rate)()

We are pleased to inform you all that NIA HO management is likely to upgrade all PTS to FTS  shortly()

ADMINISTRATIVE INSTRUCTIONS FOR WAGE ARREARS

We are glad to inform you that the GIPSA has issued Administrative Instructions for Implementation of the revised Pay scales.  The effective data of Pay Scales & allowance is as under:-

Pay Scal,e DA, HRA, CCA, Transport, PF, Gratuity, FTA - From 01.08.2007
Hill Station, Kit Allowance, Paradeep Port Allowance         - From  01.11.2010
Leave Encashment                                                              - From 01.08.2007
Lumpsum Medical Benefits                                                 - From 01.01.2010

OPTION FOR FITMENT IN THE REVISED PAY SCALES IS TO BE EXERCISED ON OR BEFORE 22.10.2010

Wage Arrears will be calculated upto October 2010 and new pay scales from November 2010 salary.

Please take the print out of the above and circulate among the members.

Stay on Promotions under Para 13.1 & 13.2

Dear Friends,

We would like to inform you that the Hon'ble Chennai High Court granted stay on 13.2 promotional excercise (AO) for the year 2010. Some section of aggreived organisations has approached the Chennai High Court in this regard, hence the excercise is stayed.

We keep you informed as soon as we receive the latest info from Head Quarters.

Arrears Payment Date - Wage Revision

Dear Friends,

This is to inform that there will be a meeting of GM's (P) of 4 PSU's and GIC at GIPSA tommorrow i.e 15/10/2010 to decide uniform date and administrative action for releasing arrears to all employees. As soon as we receive the information, the same shall be communicated in this blog.

Ex-gratia for eligible employees

We are glad to inform you that the management has decided to release  Ex-gratia for all eligible employees those who are drawing Rs.10,000/- (Basic+DA) and less for calculation purpose Rs.3500/- PM.. Payment date will be decided at the earliest.

Wage Revision Notification

Dear Friends,

Congratulations to all. Notification No 304 for PSU General Insurance Employees issued. Awaiting further instructions from HO, Mumbai.  
Improvements: (1) 6 Half Day CLs, (2) Interim Leave is introduced. That means an employee can take leave on Last Working day of the week i.e Friday and First Working Day i.e Monday wherein Weekly Holidays shall not be counted in the leave Balances. (3) Family Pension: included Dependent Parents, Widow/Divorced Sisters, (4) Sub Staff Scales Rs 6180 - 14025 (4 Stages), Assistant Stages increased to 7, Sr Assistant Stages increased to 6,  (5) Min HRA Rs 700, 600, 570 (6) CCA 205, 170 & 125 for ABC Cities (7) Kit Allowance increased to 1000 (8) Washing Allowance Increase Rs 150. Further details awaited.
